Comments On Ali Ahmadu Treatment, by Igho Charles Sanomi II, Founder and Chairman of Dickens Sanomi Foundation of Nigeria, at Zulekha Hospital UAE, 28th September 2017.
Good day Ladies and Gentlemen, it has indeed been a long Divine journey for Little Ali Ahmadu. We are all aware of the story of his attack by the extremists, Boko Haram, in Chibok, Northern Nigeria. This is a story with core values of determination, strength and total resolution and faith In God's mercy.
I personally have been a strong supporter of my brother Nuhu Kwajafa. As we know Nuhu is the founder of GIPLC, a non profit organization focused on saving children who have special needs and medical attention. We have continued to partner with GIPLC on all its programs, but none will match the miraculous story of young Ali Ahmadu.
GIPLC visited my office in Abuja, with Ali, on a wheelchair, in August this year. They came soliciting help and assistance to give Ali a chance to receive proper medical attention, so he could walk properly again after 3 years of being confined to a wheel chair.
Personally in meeting Ali that day, my heart was heavy with sympathy and I said why would a child be made to go through this suffering, why would anyone hurt such a child. I mentioned that the Dickens Sanomi Foundation's core values are centered on Education empowerment, but kids need to be healthy to go to school. Dickens Sanomi Foundation further made its pledge to cover the medical bills and travel expenses required to send Ali to UAE for surgery.
I have taken a keen interest in Ali and visited with my team before and after his surgery. We prayed with Ali and I personally led the prayers asking God to heal Ali and give him a chance to live a normal life, God answered our prayers as we can see His miracle performed in Ali. I am very satisfied and pleased with the entire medical team of Zulekha Hospital here in Sharjah, Dubai UAE.
I thank especially Dr Nishith Bhargava, the Surgeon who handled this operation; Nuhu Kwajafa, Abubakar Ibrahim, Haruna Hua for coordinating and making this surgery a successful one. I extend my respect and thanks to Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of Ruler of Sharjah.
Our Prayers and Congratulations go to Ali and his family, as he begins a new life with his improved medical condition, which has dubbed him the nickname "the miracle boy".
Dickens Sanomi Foundation will work with Ali's family and support his growth and education.
All Thanks and Glory belongs to God Almighty who made this possible Amen.
